Family Photos | Personal

There are a lot of reasons to schedule a family session. To have some fresh new photos for Holiday cards, for gifts to family and friends and to hang proudly on the walls of the home they share together. Something a lot of people don’t realize it that when you take photographs as a family, you’re giving something to your children that you can’t place a value on. As an adult, I value the photos of me sitting on my dad’s lap watching Cops at age 2…because that’s what we did. And the photo of me as a baby, sleeping with my older sister in the recliner because I was her baby doll. Those are the things that matter and are value as an adult. For all the Mom’s who maybe haven’t lost the baby weight and want to just have photos of the kids…know that I am going to force you to take at least one photo of you playing with your child, and you can thank me in 20 years. Because it’s not always the posed shots of your children looking perfectly at the camera. It’s the photos of you smiling and laughing with the people you love…because it’s real.

Cheers!
