Sharon and TJ had such a beautiful wedding day this summer in Bloomington, IL! It was one of the hottest days of the summer by far, but it was truly a gorgeous wedding with two people very in love. TJ and Sharon met at work when they had cubicles near one another. They tried to keep it a secret from co-workers but apparently they weren’t so sneaky because everyone knew when they came clean and announced their relationship.
I love being behind a camera during a wedding day because you get to see so much. All the love family and friends have towards a couple, the relationship between parents and their children and the love between a couple who commits their life to one another. Weddings are so beautiful to begin with and when you have two people who are madly in love, well, it makes my job easy!
This wedding was especially fun for me because it was my husband’s first time 2nd shooting with me. I was a bit nervous being the boss lady for the day but he did an outstanding job! Since this wedding, he’s shot quite a few with me and does an amazing job of taking care of my couples [and me!] and getting some amazing shots!
Here’s a bride who really loves her hair!
Please notice sweet little Brinley looking at the bride
While I was with the girls at the hotel, Tommy was hanging with the guys. He was super impressed by TJ’s Nintendo collection
They were watching Happy Gilmore in case you were wondering
Love this shot Tommy took of the girls before they walked down the aisle
Sharon is from Nebraska and asked for some cornfield and windmill photos. I love these!
Another amazing shot by Tommy…
Tommy handed over his camera to the best man, Ryan to take a photo per his request (top) and here’s the end result (bottom…that’s Tommy in the background)
I’ve seen a lot of unique bridal party entrances but this group takes the cake. They each had different songs and dance routines to come into. Love these!
Here are a few outtakes from the day that Tommy and I snapped of each other for fun!
Love this couple and they’re gorgeous wedding day!
